The FW website is what it is.. it exists... It's not top of the line and it's a shame because that reflects upon the boats that they build. Chaparral does not build anywhere near the quality boat that FW does (IMO) but thier web site is leaps and bounds better with high resolution (very high resolution) VR walk arounds, photos, better videos etc.

Nothing wrong with constructive criticism when it's warranted and I believe that FW can improve the web site. They could also learn something from Stingray too... The whole MyFourWinns has been sitting idle, "under construction" now for half a year or more... No details as to it's progress at all.

I used the FW web-site as a reference. Seeing the boat in person is the real selling point. The Sea Trail usually help as well to sell a boat. I don't think the FW web-site is bad. It is what it is. I just took a quick look at the Sea Ray web page and the Maxum web page. They all look the same to me. They all give you an idea of the lay out and the options on a boat.

I agree.... I just used the web site as a jumping off point and seeing the boat in person (and lurking around this site) is what closed the deal.
No matter how much info you pack into a web page, you cant satisfy everyone. Too much info and the site becomes too complicated and difficult to navigate through.
I had already made up my mind when I went to the boat show to purchase but I just wish that my salesman was more informative... but thats another story.

We're the best commercial FW has!

If I was shopping for a new boat and came accross this message board, I'd look deeper into FW. Our little group here provides a ton of good information on all of the models FW carries. FW should link to this site!

You know I was just thinking the same thing. They have had their owners corner under construction for as long as I've had my boat. They need to just link it to this page, I think I get better info here than from most boat shops anyway.
