Congrats!!! You'll have a great time out on the water, we have. Out son was born 12/7/07. It was a great summer. He did cut some of our water time but in the long run he saved us a LOT of gas money. LOL Got to look on the bright side, right?

We had our little man (born 6/21/08) out on the boat at 11 days old.



It did cut back on our boating time this summer but only due to the heat.



It's basically not a lot of fun to leave him down in the cabin when it's too hot outside.



So we didn't go to the boat on the hottest of days this summer. That and when they're new you really don't want to be slathering sunscreen on them since their skin is still very sensitive. We're figuring that by next summer he'll be fine with our usual schedule.

Congrats on little one on the way. We too had a our 2nd baby 2-21-08 and he loved the boat all he did was sleep. my daughter just under 2 loved the boat she was more excited than me to go. Dadda boat? she would say, and then boat boat boat repeatedly until we got on board. So even though your time will be limited i think its better to keep it. Its fun watching the little ones have a good time
