2. Good boat driver as well (although even better as a back-seat driver  )
3. Packs a mean lunch and snacks
4. Always remembers the drinks
5. Makes me put sun block on so I don't get sunburned
6. Makes sure we always come back with the same number of people we left with!

Thankfully I have learned over the years not to make too many mistakes!

I was waiting for someone to break the "looks good on the boat" chain. Better not let her read this thread!

4. Backs the trailer down and unhocks
5. Helps with tie offs
6. Drives it occasionally

9. Cleans and waxes the boat inside and out
10. Never compains about buying boat stuff
11. Just loves to drive wild when I'm on a tube! This is when I pay for the things I don't do!!!

I'll do my part to keep this thread alive!

1. Looks great on the boat!
2. Makes sure the cooler is filled with ice and pop/water.
3. Drives.
4. Helps with loading/unloading.
5. Hooks the boat up to her Armada when it's time to head to the lake.
6. Cleans the boat.
7. Stands watch while I try to find the wave that will throw my boys (and guests) off the tube.

She wants to learn to drive with and back up the trailer so she can take the boat out with the kids if she happens to be home while I'm still at work (we work together but she can do her job in 10 or so hours a week). We'll work on that this week.

Tom

ok.

Have to keep the first thread going on...

- looks great on the boat as number one...and then add...
- reminds me of where all the rocks are (which we [I] managed to find with our props 2 years ago)
- drives like a champ when I want to ski/board/whatever
- is awesome on slalom
- is better at pointing out crazy things that we see at the launch sometimes (we have a launch not too far from our dock...great amusement).
- hates backing up the trailer, but is great at driving the boat onto it.
- cleans, puts the cover on/off...
- cheers me on and has the beer ready after a day of waxing and finer detailing

; )

Ernie

She defines the phrase “pleasure boater”. Just kidding, 18 years of boating (married 25 years) and she is my right hand. I have never been out on the boat without her. The kids can stay home, but not her.

Honestly, she is getting better at loading the boat on the trailer than me. but thats mostly because i cant afford to wait three hours while she tries to get the truck and trailer down the ramp.

........Oh and looks good on the boat!

Marty

Well let's see.
1) The boat simply looks better when she's aboard
2) Handles all lines and fenders when docking or pulling away
3) Crawls into the cabin to get me food when we're fighting 4 footers on Lake Michigan.
4) Stows all gear below and keeps the cabin clean.
5) Reminds me to put on Sunscreen as well
6) Listens to orders from the Captain when at sea

She's the best!

So hmm...going thru all our threads, we all clearly do a lot of praising of our Admirals... :)

Can/should we conclude that:

a) boating enhances our relationships...
b) our relationships enhance our boats
c) only people in successful relationships do any boating
d) only people in successful relationships read this forum.....
e) all of our Admirals read this forum, and so we have to "stay in line"
f) something else?

:)
