I slept good knowing my boat was dry and inside!
Here is a picture of the Holland Harbor entrance at around Noon yesterday.

For reference, the channel markers have a 4 leg base that supports a square platform, I can walk under it so it is about 6 feet tall. The cement pier is normally about 3 feet above the water. So you can see the wave at the green marker is about 9 feet.
My sister-in-law has a 50' Ocean Alexander trawler at the same marina we use. They had purchased extra fenders and had used every single line they have to tie up their boat. There was a Fleming trawler that broke loose and went forward into a piling, bending their anchor. A 46 Sea Ray next to the Ocean Alexander had ripped loose some dock boards and they were unsure if the dock was still safe to use.
The marina is just inside the channel from Lake Michigan into Lake Macatawa so if the conditions are right the wind, waves and surge are still pretty strong there.
