In the Greater Toronto Area it's been chilly this weekend. The Muskoka area got walloped during the second half of this week, with 60 - 100 cm of snow falling in 36 hours! Sadly, not only did we not get that much snow where I live, but the cold has reminded me that we have another 5 months before I can get back on the Four Winns .

25C today, 30C tomorrow, then 39, 22, 21, 22, 23... all this and a 2000 sq km bay on my doorstep... wooohooo!

went to work this morning, car got stuck/high centered in the middle of the parking lot. Had approx 14-16", went out after they plowed the lot, had another 8" on top of that. I really dislike winter anymore.

OMG! Rob thaaaaaaat is crazy! I grew up in MI and WI but have lived in TX for the last 11 years, my blood has gotten way to thin. 50 degrees F and a light breeze and I am screaming like a little girl anymore.

We are going through a very cold snap here in the UK with night time temperatures down to
-5c (23f) with 3-4" of snow, luckily it doesn't get much colder than this in the UK, but we have some major airports and cross channel railway lines closed. It doesn't take much to grind this country to a halt, for some reason we never seem to learn.

Me and SWMBO are off to the Caribbean at the weekend to get a couple of week's sun on our backs and recharge the batteries
