Mike,
I am late to this thread. I have the same inflatable except is made for West Marine by Zodiac. I use an 8hp Nissan two stroke motor. The motor weighs 67 pounds, which is why I bought it. I lift mine off my inflatable while davited to my swim platform. It is amazing how cumbersome even 67 pounds is while standing in an inflatable that is moving with the lake. A four stroke will weigh 115 pounds for the same horsepower and must be stored in a position to protect the crankcase oil. My inflatable will run about 20 - 22 mph with my wife and me in it. We have the inflatable keel and wood floor. It most certainly does go on plane and believe me, you can tour the lake a lot cheaper with it, rather than in your big boat. We take it with us on all boat trips. Dan
