Nice work MisterBulbous.

How do you like the superscreamer? We picked one up last summer but found that everyone was getting their elbows rubbed raw. So in the off season we bought a bunch of long sleeve rash guards in various sizes. Everyone is happy with it now :D

Superscreamer is fine. To be honest, I'm not a huge fan of wild tubing stunts, but this is much better than the type of tube where the kid kinda sits down in it. I can maneuver this one across the wake fairly well, but again I'm typically motoring around 20~22 mph just giving the kids a relatively safe ride. You are right about the elbow rash. For some reason that tube almost has a burlap cover. Rash guards are a good idea.

Nice job on the You Tube video Misterbulbous. That is what boating with your family is all about.........

Mike.

Thanks Mike. I realize it's overloaded with family type pictures, but we spent 7 straight days out on Lake Norris. Never saw a cloudy day, very hot but low humidity. We have a great time going to the marinas and eating. In our hearts, we prefer Dale Hollow, but that lake and surrouding area is practically void of modern conveniences.

I sure hope you can work from your laptop like me because I know where I would be spending all of summer if I owned that place. Nice cottage and the water looks great.

Can you tell me how long the trip is from Parry Sound to Henry's would take? Is it something that can be handled in a 18' bowrider? It is a trip that I am interested in doing, and the trailer distance isn't too far from North Bay.

Parry Sound to Henry's restaurant via the South Channel route is only about an hour or so if you've done it before, maybe 2 at the most considering you will take it slow to enjoy all the scenery. It's easily done in an 18' bowrider, the whole way is through islands and channels, so all protected water, and it's gorgeous so I'd highly recommend it. Just get the area chart so you can see an overview of the route fully, it's pretty busy, so it's easier to understand the route this way, prior to using a GPS.
