That rain is ridiculous! Visibility measured in feet, not a portion of a mile...Did it pass quickly like usual for this time of year?

Lasted an hour like that. Severe storm didn't move. Had to tie off to a random dock.

So, we went down to Lake of the Ozarks for our annual long weekend trip, Thursday through Monday with about 20 of our friends and had an absolute blast. Here's a few pics from the weekend!

Spent last week on the boat.

Started in Traverse City and made our way to Boyne City for a few days before ending the trip in Charlevoix for the Venetian Festival.

well after 10 days at Kiawah Island SC sipping drink, sitting in the sand, playing golf, riding bikes etc... i am back to society.

Just left Traverse and Charlevoix last Thursday with Bliss36. I loved Charlevoix and I'm working on next years trip. 1,000 mile round trip tow for me to get there and worth every mile of it. I hope we can spend a couple of weeks in the area next year. The guy in the slip across from me had just retired and sold his house and was living aboard a Monterey 298. Gave me a few ideas!

yea it sleeps 10 comfortably we have done 14 with 4 on the floor but thats a crowd... over the weekend 8 stayed on the boat.. the wife and i opted to stay at the house with my brother and his fiancé along with the dogs and used the center console to make the 10 min ride to the inlet the next morning..

bow master on suite shower and full tub, crew bunk room, mid ship stateroom, full head and separate shower, full galley with trash compactor, lounge with 2 nice arm chairs, huge L wrap leather couch lounge that has fold out table to accommodate 10 nicely, 3 steps up is the inclosed pilot house with seating for about 6, sleeps 2, then full top deck with 2nd bar... yea i love it.. this is what i grew up on spending my summers in the bahamas.. you can hate me now.. grandparents have logged 12,000+ nautical miles in her on trips over the years.. they have done the full ICW (inter coastal Water way, they have done the east loop (water way up hang a left hit the lakes then turn south down the Miss all the way to New Orleans run the Gulf down to the keys and loop back.. countless trips to the Bahamas.. its a nice ride..
