I swapped out the POS tire that came with the FW trailer for some load range E (went up a range) Power STR from Hercules. We log over 2000 KM each year towing, and I havent had any issues. Even the spare tire that FW sent me which I chose to use as a spare is cracking on the sidewall, and its never been used.

It sure did! I like the trailer, I've got maybe 20 hours of highway speed towing and some miscellaneous gravel road time on it now and I've only had issues with the one tire (knock on wood).

Took the Freedom out on Alum Creek this weekend. Our third time on the water. As in third time ever ! :oops:

First boat for me and I'm not from a family of boaters. The learning curve is rather steep ! We went out early Saturday so the ramps and the lake had very little traffic.

Kolia, Welcome. We run around Alum Creek ourselves. There are a few of us on here that go out there. Hopefully we can all catch up sometime. Congrats on the new boat

This weather in the Southeast has been insane. I can't recall a summer where I kept the camper canvas on the entire time.
