That was at a vaca house we rented for the family get together for son #3's wedding. Ya like the neighbor's garage?

Here in flyover country, it's hard to imagine that such places even exist.

For years, our boating consisted of tin boats. This year, we were fortunate to be offered a mint condition 1993 180 Freedom. Still, the best part of boating is the scenery and the people to enjoy it with.

Sketch. That is a nice looking boat. Those closed bow Freedoms are very rare...in fact I don't think I have ever seen one outside of the catalog. Where do you boat? The scenery is great.

Here are some shots from Northern Michigan.

Anchored off Government Island (Les Cheneaux Islands):

The dock at the resort in Cedarville where we were staying. You can see the Bimini for my boat in the middle:

Thanks for the compliment. I didn't know that my model is considered rare. At first, I was disappointed that it wasn't a bow-rider, but I realized that it has ample room in the stern for 6 and a sturdy bow for sunning/sitting.
I like the look of yours. It looks like a 2000's updated version of the Freedom.
We keep the boat in Kennisis Lake near Haliburton, Ontario CA. The granite rock of the Canadian Shield gives the area it's distinctive look.

That's a not-uncommon set-up on Winnipessaukee, Mike.

This type of setup is quite common here in the Thousands Islands (Gananoque, ON, Canada) area or the Muskoka's. Anybody that owns waterfront around here either has a gorgeous waterfront or a slew of gorgeous boats to show off.

Imagine what they use to keep in this boathouse?

Image

Can this be called a "cruiser"? Well atleast it's at rest.

Took this on Saturday. Probably the last time I'll be able to get in the water.
