Was on the jet ski all day. Best top speed on the GPS today was 67mph in not ideal conditions. The thing is a rocket it's awesome. Made two trips.

First spot is known as the "race track". It's nothing but 10-20ft wide canals in a giant maze for miles. It's like riding a motorcycle on a twisty canyon road.

Second of the day was between Lake Monroe (where my boat is) to Lake Harney all through the twisties. A bit wider with more traffic, but really fun.

Went out on the intracoastal waterway last night for a dinner cruise. Planning another one tonight. And another one Thursday. :D

Got to take advantage of those warm summer nights (and avoid the hot summer afternoons).

Yeah, I'm in no rush to get out on the boat this afternoon. It's an oven out there.

Enjoying the last long weekend at the cottage with lots of tubing and wakeboarding. It sure isn't an oven up here but it's warm enough for water fun at least. Happy Labour Day Weekend!

Be safe out there guys, it's going to be a mad house. I counted 4 law enforcement boats by the time I even pulled out of my marina yesterday.

Made it out last night, and had some light dinner at anchor. Good time, and not too bad at the boat ramps or waterway.

Staying out of the water today. I don't take it out on Labor day...I'll leave it for the twice per year boaters :|

As much as I would like to go out - I looked at the camera for the launch I use - and... It is a mad house. One ramp has a truck broke down on it, people all over the place, and several boats using the "launch/trailer only" area to tie off and basically keep anyone getting on the river. I will go out Wednesday - first day of school out here.

Might check in on the camera a few times today. Always fun to see a free shouting match that may turn into a boxing match.

Gearing up for the fall boating season. Love watching the Memorial Day/Labor Day boaters hauling their boats out for shrink wrapping. Nothing better than grabbing a jacket, pulling up for dockside pizza, some Octoberfest Sam Adams, tuning in the ol' AM station for the football game and putting around the harbor on a crisp fall day. Ahhh, my fav time of the year.

Oh please post the link to that cam. Watching launch ramps can be priceless at times.

I would post a link - but you know my boat and rig, and my backing skills are similar to a primate copulating with a pigskin, and I just can't take that kind of judgement on the interweb.

Unfortunately it's a 30 second refresh - maybe that is fortunate in my case....
