Looks like a nice installation Daz.

I spent the arvo moving the rear rollers forward, then moving the boat forward to increase ball weight. Why is it that a simple job always takes longer than expected. Spring is here. !

Not worth it's own post, but I bought a jon boat today. 12ft flat bottom from a co-worker for $100 with title. I wanted something for my lake to mess around with since it's full of hydrilla and I can't take my chap or sailboat out. I have a nissan 3.5 outboard that will work perfect on it to putt around.

shopping upholstery foam and materials for the big winter overhaul... picked out a few colors of the sample swatches i had at the house.. and going to order a few more sample swatches. i think i am getting closer to making a decision on the material colors.. so many shades it is overwhelming..

If you are going to do that major of a interior job I'd consider switching to bolster seats. They are never down on my boat.

already found the brackets to convert these seats to bolster flip.. $30 a seat and a little added time.. otherwise I'm looking at 6-900 for a pair of bolster seats then i have to re upholster them.. F that. $60 and an evening and ill convert these.

I'd be interested in any info you have about doing this. Driving with the seat turned sideways and me kneeling on the seat all day long sucks.

when i break into rebuilding the seat i will have a right up.. i will have a thread filled with details not he rebuild and redesign of my rear hatch and bench along with modifying the Baja bolster brackets into the factory seats..

By no means is this a "kit" i found an OEM part from another manufacture and developed a plan of attack to make it work. That the engineer in me.

I agree kneeling sucks.. most of the time i sit.. i am 6'2" so visuals is not bad for me but i still desire to have my face above the shield at times..

Spent the day looking up upholstery material. looking at old wooden boats, talking with one of my life long best friends about some details for the 22' 600hp carolina custom center console that he is about to start building in a few weeks.. yes i spoke correct twin 300 V8s on a 22' center console.. WHY not if you have the motors hanging on the motor stand in the shop.. 150hp on the same style hull similar weights runs early 40s so we expect to cruise in the early 40s...

ON REPLACEMENT FOR DISPLACEMENT.

and building a boat from the ground up designed to handle the power makes it even better, not many 22' 600hp boats out their outside of the speed boat department.. and this is a fishing boat.. first to the spot catches the fish..

She's getting what's on the sale rack at the local wakeboard store as the 2015 models just came out and the 2014's are cheap now. Name brand for sure no bobo walmart crap, but if it's last year's colors too bad.
