Monterey's are very nice looking. Not a big fan of the direction they are heading with the interior on the 236.

:?:

They stopped making the 236 Montura Cuddy in 2001.

Maybe you meant the 234 SS ?

Yeah that's what I meant.

Not much of a cuddy fan.

Also not a fan of the amount of dark paint on the hulls of the new models - like the look of your boat much better.

Last weekend on the boat this year :( Unless we get some awesome weather in the next few weeks.
Good news is the admiral was checking out an older 350 SR slipped next to us and now says that we need a bigger boat :) Probably won't happen for another year but at least we can start looking.
Got to show her a 318 and 348 now

Wait a year or two...you can take my 320 off our hands when we move up to a 380 or 420 :D

Don't give up yet, the rest of September is forecasted to be nice for boating. In fact, we will be up on Grand Traverse Bay boating this weekend.
Can't wait to get our boat up there for some fun. Jeff, any "must stop" locations on the Bay you recommend ?

Power Island for anchoring out, swimming, or hiking.
Apache Trout Grill has a dock you can tie up to for lunch or dinner.
Suttons Bay is a great town to stop in.
Knot Just a Bar in Omena is also on the water but it can be skinny water to get to the docks. We usually dinghy to shore.

Have fun. Beautiful water up there. :D
The picture in my sig is at Power island.

Probably will be a year or two as I need to upgrade the house first.
I havn't seen the inside of a 320 yet. What year is yours?

It is a 2002, but almost everything on the interior cockpit and cabin is 2012. All redone.

Wet Doggg,
That's a really sharp looking boat. I would be very interested to see some pics of the remodeled interior if you have them?

Thanks Jeff. Just what I needed. We are excited about this little trip. Hopefully I'll have a few pics to post to get this thread back
on track.

Some really lovely photos

Earlier on in the season I hoped I would post my own. The best summer here for 7+ years, lovely warm, calm conditions. A weeks break in early July saw us on the boat for many days without a working camera of course ! Our 22 year old daugfhter came down with her boyfriend and then a friend, we all got on really well together and we saw loads of dolphins, whales and puffins. All seemed great. My daughter got a good job starting in Septembe.r

Then mid July it went rapidly downhill !

83 year old Mother in law in hospital for a recently discovered skin cancer, several operations.
85 year old Father in law with Alzheimers, which advanced rapidly without his main carers presence, now almost in in a a vegetative state
Mother in law with us now for about 6 weeks ( can't blame her, but she's hard work !)
Father in law now almost dies on a weekly basis ( no blood presssure or detectable pulse at times ) but they can't find out what is wrong with him, or have any idea how long he will survive, but he always recovers with saline drips.

Daily visits to the hospital, 95 miles from the boat, so it's unused ( again !)

Holiday in Croatia mid September cancelled

Ho hum. At least I haven't ( once again) used much fuel !

Looking like a nice weekend up here!

Keep an eye on the depth going into apache as well. With the lake level down, it's been a bit shallow there as well.

I assume you'll be trailering up cap'n, if so, I prefer the launch at greilickville as opposed to clinch. Much nicer launch.

Sorry to continue derailing the thread. I forgot to take pics at power island last weekend to keep us on track here :)

The island is full of nice hiking trails and plenty of great views of Grand Traverse Bay! Anchor on the East side of the Island and South of the pier pictured, that's for the park Ranger on duty. The depth goes from 60ft to 4ft in a very short distance, but go slow and you'll be fine. I think this is a do not miss stop on Grand Traverse Bay!
