Yeah, the low great lakes water levels are quite concerning. We have about 2' 7" in our boat well right now. Actually holding off paying my 2013 docking fees until close to the April 1st due date just to try and get the most up to date water level forecast I can so I can make a informed decision to stay at my current marina or should I seek deeper waters?

My folks have a cottage on Lake Huron. Years ago I have taken our previously owned 25 oot Doral Citation and docked at their dock. Last fall their was no water at their dock, it was high and dry. Many cottagers in that area have similar issues.

Mike.

Thanks for the update. By the sound of the article, it will be our kids who will benefit from this decision.

Well it probably has to do with Nestle, The Chinese and those giant bladder barges going up and down the great lakes if you believe some of these articles I have run into. Also heard that Jesse Ventura did a show about this topic on his show Conspiracy Theory on trutv, sounds a bit far fetched to me but it's something worth looking into.

+1 There has been a few Congressmen trying to defend the sale of the water to Corporations. I think it's true from what I have seen and it's complete bs. Just like lake Mead and Calif. taking all the water, just bs.
