It was that new WD40 penetrating spray to loosen the corrosion on the metal zippers. I'll silicone spray to lube.
It's going to take a good month of stabbing at it little by little cleaning to get it spotless. It took me months to get my H180 perfect and at least 2 months to get my Stingray to a point where every nook, crack, and anything was flawless. Kinda fun actually. Once it's that clean it's very easy to maintain even tied to a dock. I'm headed to the fabric store now to get some yards of microsuede to recover the interior cushions in navy blue. Being a VP guy I'm actually shocked on how smooth this base model engine package is. I already ripped down the interior headliner and reglued it, it was sagging in a few places.
Rain? No problem! I can't say it enough, it's so nice to be in a real boat again. Nobody ever ever ever ever buy a Stingray.
