Our boat is in northern Wisconsin, and we're still dealing with a fair amount of ice on the lakes. I'm told it's a little late this year. We bought this boat November 1st and have never launched it, or any boat before! Should be interesting. Maybe a couple more weeks, and we'll give it a try. If I can, I'll post a few pics of the process. You can all have a good laugh!

Just got an email tonight from our marina, our boat is in the water. Looks like a weekend at the lake is in order :D

Hey acguy,

You got us beat. My wife and I just got home from an afternoon of bottom painting. Now we are BBQ'ing our steak (Sat. 9:50pm).

My wife and I are going to take this coming Tuesday afternoon off to wash/wax.

Enjoy floating, we are about 1 1/2 weeks behind.

Mike.

Rule #1 - If it's your first boat and it's sluggish and won't plane, check and make sure it's not still strapped to the trailer...

FINALLY!! My boat went in yesterday. It started up and ran perfectly, no problems. I was real happy to see my water impeller changes I did last week on both engines didn't give me any issues. Boats all waxed and ready for a great summer season now, and I hope the weather will co-operate for this Canadian long weekend. It's certainly a good feeling to see it floating again!!

cheers everyone
