Not much sce at all on that anchor I sure hope that is not how you set it for overnight stays

When you have all chain, it takes a pretty good wind to show how much actual scope there is. I've got numerous pics around showing my boat with the only hook down, and 10 boats tied to me, and it looks the same as it does in that pic.. Trust me, there's plenty of scope out.. :wink:

Well all chain is a totally diff ball game proceed with your cocktail.

Grandad has a 65 with 800' OD 3/8 and she hangs vertical..

I love chain, I have 20' on my main and 12' on my 5# stern anchor that is also main anchor for the 15' fishing boat.

Never have too much chain,, chain is the best

As for my past 2 days, on the water is much better than the office I actually took pictures today.. 10 am hit the landing and ended the evening at our fav restaurant. Perfect Tuesday.

Love the passenger dash cooler,

Checked up on the "castle" across the cove from my bosses house. Yea it's humongous

A couple of pics from the first trip out this year. Took a bit longer than anticipated due to tons of homework and graduation from grad school, but she ran well and we are ready for the season! Nothing better than pulling up to restaurant by boat for some fresh fish and chips and a beer!

Hey we were all alone in that cove overnight then about 11 AM the flotilla came in. Not being anti social just sitting there in my "happy place" :wink:

Besides always seems like Tarter is up to no good when we come by. I get over served when I'm around him. Took me days to recover one time. In his defense I was on my way when I got with him but he sure helped me along. :lol:

Great to see so many Lake Shelbyville boaters on the site.

Unfortunately for us we have yet to get on the water this year. Bought a short sale house last year & have been tied up in renovations. Hope to finish installing new hardwood floors next weekend & start hitting the water.

We should have some sort of raft up
