Sorry, have to disagree with you on this one. I'd rather have them use the porta potti. While it may seem like a big lake and trivial, if everyone using the lake used it as their own potty, I wouldn't want to be swimming it it. Many on our lake also use it as their water supply. Not to mention the addition of the nutrients that add to the problem of expanding lake bottom growth.

Don't misread me. I'm not a tree hugger type. But where do you draw the line between what's ok to dump untreated into the lake and how much?

+1 to the anti- cheetos, doritos, cheesy poofs, etc.

I prefer resealable plastic bottles to cans for obvious reasons. My wife picked up some can tops so we'll see how that goes.

If you want service, no shoes, no shirt :D

My number 1 peeve is: If you're the spotter for watersports, pay attention to the rider and the rope. My 6 year old can do this, I expect an adult to be able to.

I don't ask for much, just come out and enjoy yourself and have a good time without leaving a mess behind.

The fruit salad story brought one back for me...

My sister in law (love her though) brought a huge pan of scoth a roos one afternoon. Now, I love these and could gorge myself but I had to put the foot down. Those things plus 90 degrees and sunny, not a good combo.

Heh, I keep a couple spare sets of the 3 for $20 sunglasses they sell at the mall. I've been surprised how many times guests have forgotten to bring their sunglasses. Same deal with towels and sunblock.

The ziplocs also come in handy for wet bathing suits, among dozens of other purposes.

Spotshot carpet cleaner works wonders... but only if you TELL ME ABOUT THE STAIN, not throw a towel over it and leave it to dry and set.

Honestly... the lakes here in Washington are plenty big. Ducks crap in them... believe it or not - so do fish. I don't feel any sympathy if I piss in a lake rather than a porta potti.

I'd like to see a decent sized guy squeeze in that head space and piss WITHOUT splattering all over.

When you drink... you pee... with my crew - the porta potti would be overflowing before lunch time.

Oh wait... that's right... pants around the ankles and squat. Not my style.

Painted toe nails leave marks on my white cushions!!!! I love painted toes and cute shoes (on girls) but not on my boat.

People who leave trash on the boat.

People who spill their beverage on the boat.

People who argue that their kid doesnt need a pfd. On my boat anyone who I say wears one wears one or you can get the heck off my boat.

People who want to tell me all about their buddies, friends, college room mates, dads, brothers boat and how cool THAT boat is. Until you are making the payment, insurance, registration and have a vehicle to pull a boat, STFU.

People who leave my cup holders unfolded then step on them.

Wow, lots of hatred in this thread. I feel kinda guilty for starting it now.

Hopefully I am not alone when I say that, despite my post, I am VERY laid back on my boat and most anything goes. Heck, I'll probably allow half the stuff on my list (and on others' lists) to happen and just not say anything to you unless I think you're going to cause some damage or be unsafe. Then, you just won't get invited back if the violation is bad enough (unless you're hot, then you get some leeway).

On my boat there is definitely an inverse relationship between the level of hottness and the expectation for following rules. As the hottness goes up, the expectations go down. What can I say, life isn't fair. I think Jerry Seinfeld said, you don't ever see any good looking homeless.
