We had a most relaxing weekend. For the most part, uneventful, but I do have to share one story that made me about laugh myself right into the water. The people that slip their boat next us are kinda crazy drinkers. They have a slight tendency to drink too much while out on the water. Well, he had a little to much to drink and passed out leaving his wife (who wasn't much better off) to get the boat back to the slip. They have a 26ft wellcraft and had one heck of a time getting it in. Besides side swiping the 38 cruisers yacht on the other side and completely busting their bimini top to pieces, it was quite humerous.

One thing I did notice was more Four Winns on the water than ever before. Indiana has a very poor dealer network and I was surprised at the number of FW's out. Now if I could somehow promote this site to them.

For a change we had a decent for weekend and we enjoyed the first outing around Thousand Islands in Alexandria Bay New York. It was little windy and water was still ice cold but boating was good. I also successfully installed a canopy on my lift so we are all set for this season.

Here are some captures from weekend.

Hi Flying Sushi, great pics thanks. That house in the last pic, no 6 looks like the house that was used in "The World of Garp" in Maine. Do you think it might be the same one?

We extended our weekend through Wed since relatives were in from out of town and took in some extra fishing time. We made a last minute decision to leave our boat home since we had a pontoon and fishing boat available and no sense hauling if the water temp is in the mid to upper 50's. Froze on the water fishing Tuesday morning, but caught about 50 White Bass in 3 hours and had a fish fry Tuesday night. It was fun to get my son into that much fish since we usually don't catch much.

Awesome .... the photo of the freighter on the river reminded me of what it was like to boat on the Detroit river and St.Claire areas.
