Well, he likely had to change his number due to his new popularity. I know what I said, but it is kinda funny. I can live vicariously through others and still keep my Halo! :P

Hey I've got a great amp and sub to sell you. Just meet me behind the walmart at 2am. Flash your lights twice and wait with cash in your left hand.

I promise it works great.

No the 12w6 sub works great, in fact it works too great. The "bad" amp would cut in and out but when it did play the bass that came out was crazy insane!! It's in a ported box and with it just sitting out in the open it sounded amazing. The problem is with my boat the only place to put it is under the seat where the cooler is suposed to go. With it under there it pushed so much air that it rattled the $hit out of everything. The only way I could make that sound "clean" is if I mount it in the fiberglass somewhere and build a sealed box behind it. Too much work

So today I picked up a wetsounds free air sub and am going to mount it under the passenger helm area, I couldnt decide what amp to put to it so the shop gave me a used bazooka 300watt monoblock that had been laying around for 20 bucks...it will get me through the holiday weekend but definetly not enough to sound good.

If the sub kicks in an out when connected to the amp, it could be a crossover setting at the amp or at the head unit. At least this is the case on my Clarion headunit, I was playing around while dialing it in, and had this happen.

I would have been suspicious about the guy wanting to meet somewhere and only providing cell phone info. Home phone number and or home address generally leads to upright craigs list purchases in my experience. Who knows?, your amp could be good and the guy ducked and ran because they were stolen.

I wish, my buddy is an audio guy and he did some tests on it and said it was fried. I'm over it now, I got another amp and sub hooked up Thursday and had an amazing holiday weekend

There is an old saying that goes like this.... When engaging in revenge make sure the screwing you give is worth the screwing you may get.

Keep in mind many people are way over the top. You taunt the wrong person and you may find them drunk with a tire iron waiting for you or your kid the next time you are out in the yard.....

Yeah he is a scumbag but just watch yourself is all....
