LOL Capn

So now this has turned into 4 I-beams welded into a square with a 1/2" steel plate welded onto them? We talking grills or homemade battleship anchors?

Maybe it's just me. I can't brain today, I got the dumb.

I'm not sure yet Mike, maybe steel infill plates bounded by a column-beam mat that you can
have in your house, that keeps your floor clean, so you can grill indoors ???????

slman, so what mounting option did you end up using? Sorry to bump an old thread, but I picked up a kettle and I'm trying to figure out where to mount it. I don't want to use the swim platform, because I don't want the kids burning themselves when they go swimming.

I'm thinking of hanging it off the bimini pole, or using a flush mount off the gun-whale.
