Congrats! I had mine out today, with the new props I also hit 52 on GPS, but it was a bit choppy, so I'm hoping for a few more MPH on glass.

Glad everything worked out ok. Next time you're out at the boat, it would probably be a good idea to get familiar with the drain iplug and water pump hose locations, and make certain that you have the tools d. while i'm cerctain that the opinions expressed about temps and time needed to crack a block, I'm thinking that temps and time to push out an engine plug would be far less - after all, that's what they're there for. Draining the engine early in the season, and late in the season can obviously save quite a bit of anxiety, if not $$$.
