Thank you all so much for the kind well-wishes! I have been completely overwhelmed, as you might imagine, during my delivery week so please bear with me 'till next week when normal life will resume and I'll have the opportunity to post many more pix and a full report. I was out cruising with a captain for two and a half hours today and it was just a remarkable experience. Docked it for the first time with a 10 - 15 mph wind blowing and, if I do say so myself, put her in perfectly. Looking forward to sharing the experience with everyone.

Happy New Year - all good things for you and those you love 8)

Just returning from my week on board and basking in the afterglow. I am seriously in love. I can't say enough good things about this boat and the Zeus technology. Hopefully it's the beginning of a long, happy relationship. Here are just a few quick shots to whet your appetite...

Dockside profile...

Taken from the salon looking forward to the galley and dinette. 360 degree windows and views...

The engine room access is in the cockpit, so there is a "basement" and the picture doesn't do the size justice. So much storage...

Full-beam mid-cabin with tons of storage, washer/dryer, direct access to day-head. Could wind up as the master.

A glimpse of the always tough to shoot forward berth

From the top of the bridge stairs. When that hatch is closed it is quiet!

Bridge fridge (essential) and TV (hey, it was on the boat)

Port side seating by helm - fits three comfortably

More to come...

WOW! Very impressive. I was talking to my sales guy who said he was bringing in a 48 sundancer with skyhook and was by himself. He said everyone stopped and stared as he "stopped". The boat stayed in place despite a stiff breeze and he went around to put out fenders!
Looking forward to more pics!!

Thanks so much for all of your kind comments. It still feels a bit surreal and I'm away from the boat now for a few weeks so I'll quickly be going a bit stir crazy.

Last month, Boattest.com re-tested the boat using a 441 equipped identically to mine. You can read the analysis here. It is remarkable to see in print what a difference the new technology makes in performance and efficiency and I can attest to the accuracy of the numbers they saw. They also do a cost-benefit analysis of opting for the Zeus drives in place of standard propulsion. That's a difficult argument to make and I never looked at it that way. As I've mentioned, once I tried it, there was no going back. But take a look at the difference between the 425hp V-drive boat they originally tested vs. the Zeus boat. Most pre-Zeus 441's seemed to have shipped with the inboard 480 engines in the last two years from what I've seen on the market.

Here's the original test (the yellow highlight is considered 'best cruise'):

And here's the new test:

Even if your not in the market, the writeup on Boattest does a great job of breaking down why there's such a difference.

And of course, I realize this is a Four Winns forum. I've just been sharing my excitement as I know some of you enjoy it, but I don't mean to turn this into a Meridian ad.
I plan to stick around and hope I can continue to offer any assistance possible, particularly any questions people may have about the V358. I got to know her intimately over her three seasons and I'm always happy to share what I know.
