Curious if you bought the swim platform at your dealer? If not can you give me the contact info?

I did not buy it. Used a connection/family friend inside FW instead. The dealer that has one is:

Hall's Sport Center
231-773-2433

Let me know if you need anything else.

Ordered mine from swimplatforms.com will let you know how it goes, should be here next week.

$ 1,873.00 includes delivery, and a color match gel coat on sides to match red gelcoat on boat.

Well I want the factory one. Also I called and they told me they would have to order one as the one they have in stock is not for my boat apparantly. Based on that I am going to just go to my local Four Winns dealer and get it from them....

Thanks for your help!

Really? I can't believe that. Between mine and your boat production years there was no stern design changes I am aware of. The one I looked at in January should have fit both our boats unless they sold that one. I do agree. The factory one is much better than others I have seen. If you can get your hands on one that is. Good luck.

Thanks. Gainesville Marine (my closest FW dealer) ordered one for me. Just waiting for it to come in so I can get it installed.

Picked the boat up from winter storage and dropped it off at the canvas shop this past weekend. The canvas guy spent 3 hours with me walking through every aspect of the camper top (yeah....I think he liked the company too). Grand total....$1,380 plus tax. Should take him about 2 weeks and then it's off to the water. YEA!! Now, what to do with the remaining $500...hmmmmm.

Make sure everything is pretty. You could use that $500 to repair/replace any cosmetic blemishes. Crusty hinges, knobs, faded or worn out plastic pieces, faded graphics/stickers, SS cup holders, etc. Make that 1999 look like a 2009.

Swim Platform!!!!! Hands down, not sure if the 2008 220SS came with one from the factory or not but I would not be able to enjoy my boat as much without it. It's usually the most popular place on the boat at the sandbar since everyone just wants to hangout on it. I have the rubber mat on mine and I will give you a bit of advice throw some water on it periodically because that sucker gets really hot! Apart from the swim platform I would suggest a BBQ to really get the masses around the boat. I actually have turned my boat into a small business lately I take way more beer than my passengers can drink and I take extra food and it would surprise you what people will pay for a 6 pack when they are out of beer on the sandbar.

Ric.....good advice. I do have some goofy stuff that could use re-doing. Not sure what the engineers were thinking when they installed the faucet in the galley but every time I turn it on.....it pours water all over the counter top. It's WAY too short and stubby and doesn't project into the sink at all. Also the gas cylinder that keeps the galley hatch open is on its way out. Needs replaced but that's only about $25. Jafo4u......I've no question in my mind that a swim platform is next. I've gotten the same report from others and there were plenty of people that said it was a tie between the camper top and swim platform. Ohio weather is not the best or most predictable so naturally the camper top came first as it will extend our season appreciably. I'm also looking forward to not having to worry about rain cascading down the steps into the cabin or having to wipe a ton of dead gnats off the seats :)

SWIM PLATFORM. I did mine last year. I want to say it was 1400 from terry over in NH. The factory one is nice. I can have three fat guys drinking beer on it at the dock. had to get used to it backing into the slip. I also had to tell my friends to keep it quiet around the docks so I wouldn't get dinged for added footage. It took one weekend to install with one helper.
