Spent the evening in the boat with the Bimini up airing it all out, drinking cold beer, chilling, tinkering and determining mounting location for the chart plotter mount and just sitting enjoying the sunset.

Wow! That looks amazing. How'd you get the engine so clean?

It's impressive. Your engine looks like new. (and in some ways, better than new)

ric's right

Today is installing two refurbed F5 props, replacing the door latch on the head, and (hopefully) a hinge on the engine hatch.

I just hope my new seal arrives as scheduled on Friday so I can get the raw water pump back in to hit the water on the weekend!

Today? Nothing yay!!!

Tomorrow's project? Remove the lug nuts from the starboard side of the PWC trailer and replace with new. They've been soaking all week. The port side was straight up exhausting to replace. Giant cheater bar in 95* heat FOR EVERY TURN until each came off, along with a few broken tools.

I fitted new rocker covers and frequently use a lanolin spray on almost everything.
Stainless headers sure make everything look pretty! 8)

When I re-power I swear I'm getting a set of those lovely headers....They're pricey but I love the fact that they are:
1) stainless steel, much better for salt water
2) one piece units, no gasket to leak salt water into a cylinder

Well, I'm a free man again. The girl I was dating turns out was also still dating her "ex" that she told me she broke up with. I was just a booty call, which is fine by me, sucks for him if he ever finds out.

Today I attempt to get the lug nuts off the starboard side of the jet ski trailer. I hope it's not TOO hot today.

ordered the Lifeproof case for the iPad Mini Retina before lunch. got a smoking deal on amazon..

Ric i thought you handled that the other day.. try soaking and letting it sit with PB blaster and or liquid wrench. you may also want to press out those rusted studs and replace the studs and lugs with new. i have had to do this int he past and it was well worth the time and effort. for if you get a flat while on the road the last thing you want is a welded on lug nut via rust..

two hours and only one stud for the starboard side. Not bad! It's nice to know i can easily get the tires off now.

Winter project will be to replace the hubs and springs. Complete hubs with bearing, studs, nuts, dustcap are $32 at Northern Tool

Hey Ric,
I trust you put marine grease on all the studs prior to refitting the nuts?
Those old studs look as dry as what your stud is likely going to be, for a while again!
It's good practice to also grease the flat section of the hub, where it contacts the wheel.
