Wife said at the boat show yesterday that she'd like to stay with the blue hull on the next boat, and I'd like to stick with Mercs. So this one is perfect. Just a year too early.
I need to find one that is indoors someplace that I can really check out. Got to show the wife that its not much different than the Crownline she likes so much.

You always find "THE" boat when your not entirly ready. Just pull the trigger it's only 365 days early
It is a really nice looking boat and you really can't go wrong with that especially when another member knows some history on her

I know the feeling, I REALLY want that 268. Heck, I'd even live aboard it for a while.

Mine is indoors :-). Looks the same as the one you linked to, just a different hull color. While I love the blue, what I have now is so much easier you take care of. I'd call and take a look, they may take a trade.

I just sold mine, but could problably get the new owners to allow you a peek, its in heated storage in Bay City. Same setup, same motors, just a black and white hull.

That and I have a trailer for you to go with it.

Good luck I your search. It can be fun and stressful at times. I figured to be a 328/338 owner as well. Then we drove the Sundancer with inboards. It was no contest.

I looked at that one 2yrs ago. The owner was not willing to deal....I think he is really upside down on it

No genset. It amazes me how you would spend so much on a boat, but not the extra $$$ for a genset. There is a blue '03 in the Detroit area that I looked at a few years ago...still on the market...it was in rough shape.

Got a chance to look at this one today. somewhat disapointing. :(
Inside is beautiful, but the outside is rough.
Should have known something was up when they don't use current pics in the ad.
I'll never understand why some people would pay a ton of $$ for a boat and not take care of it.
