Tollerance grows with the level of hotness for sure. That said, 20 minutes later you better be interesting too or have a lot of money.

Tragically, I do not suffer from an over-abundance of either. I do however, have a Four Winns!

Wow! And I thought boating was supposed to be fun. We usally boat with boaters so most of the stuff that has been mentioned doesn't occur since we are amongst our own, so to speak. The friends with no boats are usally better behaved than us so that is a non-issue!

Hmmm, couldn't have anything to do with age and boat size... nah, that couldn't be it...

2) After hours of towing them around on towables not being willing to spot or drive so I can have A ski
3) people who dont take care of my toys
4)PEOPLE WHO TAKE MY GENEROUSITY FOR GRANTED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
As for people who want to smoke on board , NOT GOING TO HAPPEN ,something about fumes in the bottom of the boat iginiting

We know and see on the river plenty of a**holes in bigger boats than ours! We just don't hang with them. We did have an issue last year with new boaters who drank too much and used real glassware. We told them if they wanted to hang with us, ditch the glasses and switch to plastic. That was after they broke a glass, got cut and nearly fell into the river!

Enjoy the Holiday all!

Ok.. one last one I forgot...

People who swear up and down that they can swim like a Navy Seal and then freak out and have to be lifeguarded to the swim platform after they find out that the bottom of the lake is deep!

I take care and watch out for those who may be a bit water weary.. but if a GROWN ADULT tells me he can swim... Like a Seal!

I'll throw in mine.

Only had the boat 6 months and only a few guests out but I agree with most of you.

1. No shoes...period.

It would be nice if a guy would just possibly make the offer to pay for gas. I'm going to say no the first time out but just the offer would be nice.

"Thank You" or some show of appreciation also takes the place of offering gas money.

pet575 is a good man. after spending the holiday weekend aboard his fine craft, I was sure to review my actions to make sure that I was not in violation of any of the commandments of this brotherhood. I am not able to identify any infractions at this time, but I will let 575 judge. I have to say that the guests inviting guests has to be top turd on the pile. Add this little bit of spice to it:

your guest owns two wave runners (not terrible because they have their own equipment, right?)

your guest turns their guest loose on the wave runners to learn how to ride them while we are at anchor in my favorite spot (also not terrible because they go away for a little while, right?)

guest's guest returns to area to now attempt to pull up to my rig with the look of, "now how do I stop this crazy thing", in their beady little eyes while aimed heads up, dead center at the only thing that I REALLY care about.

after a quick calculation of distance, speed, fear, anger, payment, storage, insurance, love, and concern for feelings of others. I gave instructions that only a captain of a beautiful new black 220 would give in this situation, I said in a voice from deep within the bowels of anger to my guest, "you get that ignorant mother#%&@er away from me before I pick you up and beat her to death with you".

there were no beatings and there was no death and there was not a mark on the hull. But by God there was compliance.

Now as pet575 can confirm (if anyone really cares) I am not of large build but I was ten feet tall at the moment of real threat. pet575 will also confirm that I talk to much so I will see you guys a later date.

We really try to be as mellow as possible on the boat with guest. However, I Hate when people show up empty handed and walk of the boat with a "Thanks". Boating is not a cheap hobby, I enjoy when people show their respect by bringing beer, soda, salad, CASH....
I also hate when people complain non-stop about the water conditions.
