I know we have hijacked this in a different direction but I think boat safety means you being safe on your boat from violence also. Yes I agree also that people are more inclined to be more on edge these days especially when they see you towing a nice boat in a nice truck and they are driving a beater with no ac. That is probably why those two hillbillies did that to harass you just because they saw you were probably better off than they were. On the 40 S&W being too big definitely don't agree. The Glock 23 in 40 is a perfect size. Gen 3 Glock 23 in 40 at Lou's Police Supply in Miami is 398 dollars and that is a steal. I am exempt from any state licensing requirements so I carry in any state. I believe that responsible persons who have taken care of the requirements to carry in their state should be able to carry in any state. Instead of these bologne laws that say you can't. The only segment of society that love strict gun laws are the criminals since it makes it less likely for a law abiding citizen to defend themselves against an armed criminal. Criminals don't care about any laws pertaining to them carrying weapons. There have been numerous instances of regular armed citizens coming to the aid of law enforcement and saving an officers life so I believe you are all doing a great job in getting your licenses and carrying legally.
