Okay it's not a Four Winns... but I drink beer out of a FW coozie? lol... 2009 Stingray 195CS. I'm not looking to keep it forever but it works for now. Here's a list of planned mods: Some kinda AC.... not until 2013. New radio with bluetooth audio streaming--Done Polk MM651 speakers--Done 200w 2 channel amp for speakers Camper canvas SS prop KN marine air filter Magma grill Full LED lighting yup, that's it! Not going full throttle like my H180. I want to stay under NADA value total investment so come next year if I like the idea of a cabin I can sell this without loss and pickup a Vista or something similar. |

I need to fix the hokey radio backing but this is nearly 6'2 me laying down. Roomy as hell for a 19ft boat. It also has the new boat blues... virtually every screw is loose. ![]() ![]() |

I hate to say this, but Stingray is treating me right. They helped me do all the warranty stuff for the extended VP, and also helping me with other stuff. The yellow vinyl trim is pretty faded and they're helping me get it replaced. They use Omnova Nautolex and it falls under their full replacement warranty with labor to get it fixed at my local shop. Stingray might not be the BMW of the boat world, but holy crap they're an amazing bunch and really stand behind their products. I'm going to have a brand new 23k boat for 14k. ![]() |

Working under the cover in a rain storm sweating my butt off..... speakers are in! Radio should be here tomorrow. I decided to go with the DB again instead of MM because well.. they were $100 more. In a boat I doubt the upgraded quality would be heard. I haven't yet decided where to mount more. I know the cabin is probably getting two 4" DB's and probably a 10" sub under the rear jump seat. Later down the road though, I still need to get the trim issue resolved and the boat back in the water. I do want the cabin speakers pretty soon though. The in cabin entertainment will be handled by my GF's IPad 3 with 4g with bluetooth streaming over the radio and a nice wall mount. JVC also has an app for the apple products for this radio to control volume, station, etc. No wires in this boat! ![]() |

Good stuff, Rick! Good thinking on not investing in higher-end 'SQ' speakers in a boat. Spend that money on a bigger sub! ![]() ![]() |
