As this forum is made up of 99% US members, I've got a question that I've been meaning to ask for a while. Being as though boating is so popular in the US and people on here are always asking where can they get "this and that" do you not have boat scrap yards like I assume you have car scrap yards where you can buy "odds and sods" from old boats that are no longer available? Just wondering!

There are a few...but no where near as many as there are "junk" yards for cars.

They are also not as heavily advertised or publicized so even for "boaters" they can be hard to find.

In fact I can only think of a handful...

Ha! From what I've seen most people with junk boats keep them parked in their driveway for all to appreciate. Ever ask about their boats and its like they are just about to get started and plan on taking them out next week.
