| Post subject: | Houseboat |
We are looking into renting a houseboat in mid October. We would like to go to Kentuck Lake or Lake Cumberland. Have any of you done this or does anyone know about it. I was wondering if anyone had an experience with a particular company. What is the weather like? Jacket weather? Snow? Pleasant? Hot? Thanks in advance, Dan |

We rented one on Kentucky Lake and it was a wonderful experience. We had our H220 then and my 16 year old son drove it most of the time. Great family time. If I recall we rented from the marina right at the lodge but that's been several years ago. Probably one of the best family vacation memories my kids have. |

We have done Cumberland, kids still talk about it. Rented from State Dock and also did a cabin rental the night before at the Park which also was very nice. One word of warning, when you dock at night, keep off shore. The one night we beached, we had a family of racoons come aboard.... |
