We just completed our week vacation with our H260 for the last time… Weather was great for all but one day and spent much of time on the river… Our H260 run great as usual and kept us smile… The day has come and our new boat arrived this past weekend so we had to say good-bye to our long loved boat. We must say we are very impressed with this H260 that had absolutely no issue from day and set the standard of our boating life… We hope our new E6 will make us feel same way… Anyway I am planning to stay with this forum for a long time that I love Four Winns community and continue to share our experience and ideas…

Is the E6 bigger than the H260, apart from the wider bow? Congrats.

Nice boat. Are you pulling that with a Grand Cherokee though?

I think I saw your H260 for sale at Winnisquam Marine this morning and I was thinking how nice it is. If only I had the cash.

E6 is same length (26.5') and beam (8.5') as H260. However, it feel much bigger and has more volume than 260. H260 is very low volume compare to E6... It is 800lb heavier as well.but is much more stable on water.
And as blue dragon says we tow our boat with a big oil burner (Crew Cab F350)....

Sushi: Congrats on your new boat. I can't help but wonder though, if you loved your FW and it was trouble-free, why you changed. I'm sure the marketing people at FW are wondering as well.

We love new style boats and I like to turn them over every 5 to 7 years. When we got our H260 back in late 07 we want to keep it until next Horizon mold come out…. We were banking on new H260 to be a stunning and stay with Four Winns Brand. However, we are not too impressed with overall appearance (Very Euro Style) of new H series.
We are very happy with our last 2 Four Winns boat and especially on service provided by our dealer (Winnisquam)… I feel dealer support is very important part of our boating life and directly connected to Brand Royalty. When Four Winns and our dealer (Winnisuam) decided to go separate way the choice became very logical for us to go with Crownline and stay with same dealer…. It is just personal taste for style but dealer support is a very important part… Our H260 run flawless for 5 years and we feel good dealer service was a large factor….

A guy on Newfound has the E4 and I thought that was HUGE! I can't imagine what the E6 looks like. It's the only one of the Eclipse series I haven't seen in person.

Good luck with it Sushi. I'm sure you'll love it. :D

I was just over to my dealer to get some parts, the new FW, I dont like the style at all. Didnt like photos of FW boats on there web site and really disliked in person. Even wife commented on how poor they are, "are they going bayliner, or 70's??"

BUT, this is only our humble opinion, I am sure some will absolutely love what FW has done......

Congrads on the new boat, looks very nice.
