Buying a 100k boat just to drag it around and have it get the snot pounded out of it doesn't seem to make a whole lotta sense. Especially since most ports and marinas have water taxi service, and if your someone with enough money to own a million+ yacht, more than likely you belong to the more prestigious type yacht clubs which have reciprocal deals with other yacht clubs worldwide. Therefore water taxis are usually "on the house", as well as mooring, clubhouse use, etc.

I mean, its their money, they can spend it how they wish, but it seems like such a waste when that tender will be splinters after a season of that kinda treatment. :roll:
