It is a non profit that has it. They have had it for months. Been in Craigslist for two months. I am the first one that has even made an offer at all.

No trailer, has a heating issue of an unknown nature as they already took out the thermostat. Has bottom paint on a performance boat.
The batteries are completely dead, so you cannot tell if anything works either.

They let someone else have it for 300.00 more than I bid and then told me about it. What an A-hole.
It was an 1998 Donzi 21 with perfect interior open bow. 5.0 alfa drive that was probably fine, but you could not hear it run.

I dissagree. You made an offer, and the other guy made a better offer. End of story.

It would not be fair for the seller to go back and forth between the two of you looking for better and better offers. That would be an A-hole.

When you walked away, it is assumed you made your best offer. Better luck next time.

He is an A-Hole because of how he handled it. It was a bidding deal to begin with since it was NON-Profit.
He told me he was going to call me if someone bid higher so I could counter offer. He is a complete asshole because he told them how much I bid on it to begin with.

Yep, got it. Still don't think the guy is an a-hole. He has every right to tell others what his high (other) bid is. If you really wanted it, you should have made a better offer or just paid full price. You played the game to get a better deal and lost and are now obviously pissed about it. But it wasn't the sellers fault. You said you would have paid $500 more, you should have offered $500 more. Sounds like that probably would have got it.

Now we got the picture. Dude, kinda hard to get upset with commentors when you give us the story small pieces at a time. It took several posts over a couple of days for the whole story to come out. First it was a craigslist boat, then it was about bids, then the guy went back and forth, then the guy told ya what the other guy bid, then he told the other guy what you bid, then you said you told the guy you would have bid $500 more. I'm still a bit confused about the whole thing, but whatever, I'm not the brightest bulb anyways....glad ya got to blow off steam.
