Made it through the night, no damage, boat cover stayed in place. Slight flooding in the low areas, and reports of a couple of sailboats broke free of moorings. Other than that, all is well in my neck O' the woods.

No damage here either. Just record breaking cold and windy. 48 when I woke up.

We are on the Potomac River about 30 miles south of DC and had lots of rain and wind. No power loss and minimal boat damage at our marina where we live. We are awaiting the crest of the storm surge expected to hit around 7am on Wednesday. Our poles will float us fine but other marinas may have issues as well as Georgetown and Alexandria.

Made it through sage and sound. Boat was already out of the water and wrapped in the back yard. Power went out briefly but it back up and running. Many boats in the area of our marina were not so lucky. Several sunk in their slips and some broke free and ended up stacked up like Legos.

Reports are still coming in but all in all, we did well....considering!

Wow! We decided not to store the boat at the marina in Groton CT so she's safe and sound in the driveway! Last Snowtober clobbered us but the valley protectedd us this time around. Hope everyone is safe and all is well.

We are ok but Long Island/NYC was devastated. Record floods, 90% have no power. Yes you heard that right. New York Stock Exchange running on generators and so are we. In a few days I will have to figure out how to pump out the 35 gallons left in the boat. Trees down everywhere, barrier island are like a war zone. This years project after we get back to normal is converting the genny to bat gas.. Z

The sad of it is that if there were some of us in it bad, we would not know it for some time unless they left the area and logged in. Lots with no power or way to communicate. I am sure there are tens of thousands without power, water, phone, food, or clean water.
