:D I found the FW United Kingdom site to be quite informative:

My only problem with the site is that the product information is taken straight from the US site without being updated. Its misleading by referencing the excellent fourwinns trailer which is not road legal in the UK.

As with everything, you need to do your own research to make sure you know what you will be getting

Agreed re the carry over of details from the US web site, even the capacities are in US gallons ( UK gallons are bigger!). Correct re. the FW trailers not being road legal in the UK for a number of reasons (for this reason many "grey imports" from the US indicate the US trailers are "launching" trailers!)

The prices, which include 17.5% UK VAT ( = purchase tax) make interesting reading when compared to the US prices, with the current exchange rate of about £ 1.00 = $2.00!

Also, the availability of diesel engines on the Vista range, even on the 258. I don't know whether these diesel engines are factory fitted or on import into the UK. What we need in the UK is for more US customers to demand diesel engines, so the price differential between petrol and diesel is not so huge as it is now! ( most marinas where I boat in the UK only have diesel available, it's a real pain filling up from jerry cans all the time!)

regards,

Graham

It's a shame that FW don't pull up the dealer who is managing the site for the information as it gives a false impression of the boats/trailers and that people don't care about quality of content.

I expect that FW cannot control what their non US based dealers do.

Love the boat though.
