Hi all,
I am in the market for a second hand 8 seat bow rider.
I think I have my heart set on the H200 with the Penta 5.7 280hp.
Some questions:
Could someone pls clarify the diff between a H200 and a Horizon 200?
Also I cannot find a pattern with the seat configurations. Is it a model diff or a year diff that determines what seating config the boat has. I notice some of the 200's have the bench seat at stern, others have 2 single seats.
Do any of you Four Winns owners have an opinion of the Volvo over the Mercruiser or vice versa.

Thanks

Paul

Well how many people do you plan to be on this boat? hopefully not 8. If you want to seat 8 people you need somewhere along the lines of a Horizon 260, or better yet a Funship in that same size. An H200 is a good boat for 4-5 people tops.

H or Horizon are interchangable, people just say H cause horizon is long to type out.

It's really all about how you plan to use it. I believe the listed capacity is 9 people on my H210, and I routinely have that many people in the boat. I wouldn't spend an entire day with that many people just because it gets cramped, but for an evening cruise 9 people is fine.

The seating arrangements to my knowledge are different options from the factory, so you could have a H200 of the same model year with different configurations, you just have to find the one you like.

8 adults are comfortable on my 260.
