So, what first hand knowledge do you have of Glastron?

You make some very broad claims that make you sound like an idiot. Glastron, is not, has not and will likely never be "the best boats made". They have always been a value brand. One step up from Bayliner for many many years. At this point being within the RBH family with Four Winns puts them even more in the value realm. They currently have some neat novelty/retro boats, but that doesn't make them "the best boats made."

When they were within the Genmar family they were always the odd man out behind Larson and Four Winns. In the hieracchy they were typically 3rd in line.

They are good boats, don't get me wrong, but so are Bayliners and Stingrays. In fact compared to 20 years ago, it is hard to find a "bad" boat.

I guess to state it another way, when I think of "entry level" boats, I think of (in no particular order) the following:

Bayliner
Tahoe
Glastron
Stingray
Rinker

When I think of "best boats made", I think of (in no particular order):

Cobalt
Mastercraft
Correct Craft
Chris Craft

There are certainly a LOT of brands to consider, but your statements about Glastron on a Stingray specific forum make you sound like an idiot.

It's not all it's cracked up to be, being questioned all the time when you know your right gets old......
