Seems like every year after the rush of the holidays fades, I get twitchy for Spring. I took this over Labor Day weekend last year, thinking it would get me through the winter blues. It was 14 this morning when I left the house. Oviously water conditions were unreal for the bay!

I know my boating friends to the south will chime in which is fine, only if they share some warm pics for those of us hunkered down in the North!!

last winter we missed out because of the lack of snow. but looking good this year so far.

boat, motorcycle, and kayaks all in storage so the only fun thing left cept skiing(which my wife wont do) is snowmachining. we rent a two seater for like 5 hours and then retire to a pub for food and drinks. we do this for two or three days at a time. ill post some pics after the first trip

Back to school today after the holiday week. Eleven degrees and crabby sick high schoolers - I think I hate them as much as they hate me right now! My best revenge is knowing that this summer their parents are stuck with them and I will be on my boat in Groton CT. No pool no play ground no kiddies at my marina ... no surprise I haven't been to Disney World either, just cruising off shore with frosty beverage and grownups for company. Newtown is very discouraging and a heartbreak on so many levels so it is nice to know I can always find happy people making fun plans for the future on this forum. I have a Defender "Got Boat?" sticker on my computer at school and it makes me smile :)

I need to view a larger sample size to help make a determination as to which "hair color" is prettiest. :)

Mike.

OK ric-- no bragging about Florida. In about 2 months it will be warming in NC and in 3 months all the snow birds will start leaving Florida, cannot stand the heat.
