justincase - You may want to add further details of your boat to help foster a better answer. Suggest mentioning model year, engine and drive information etc.

Mike.

Hey Ron!

If you can get me a serial number, and some specific questions, I'll see what I can do to help you out. We are a Four Winns dealer in NH, and Four Winns has a pretty comprehensive datebase on the old models. Not all models show up from the 80's, but it would be worth a shot. I do need to get a valid serial number to get the info. Congratulations on the new boat!

I assume you mean a Santara...not Santana...

If you look here: http://fourwinns.com/content/assets/doc ... atalog.pdf

You will find the whold catalog from 1985. Scroll down to find the Santara.

Wow! Thanks for that link.
I grew up boating on a 1986 215 Santara. Those pics brought back lots of good memories. And laughs.

Juntincase, good luck with your new boat. And all that teak.

Nice looking boat ...I had a 70s model Sea Ray with tons of teakwood....I would take it off every couple years and fine sand it...then hit it with polyuerathene (spelling) .. would look great. Others would constantly oil it up.
