Is there an easy way to rewire the "convenience lamp" so that it only operates with the key in the "run" position? I find that it is inadvertently turned on and left on far too often. I'm thinking of just taking the bulb out so as not to deplete the battery. |

dave I have the same problem. Looks like a easy rewire I think I am going to rewire it so it only works with the nav lights on |

It's a very easy rewire. The owners manual shows the wiring diagrams, and color code wire key. You need only move the convenience light from the positive distribution bolock to a ignition keyed distribution point such as all of the gauges. If memory serves, the ignition keyed positive wire supplying power to the lights on the gauges is color coded blue. |
