In a <semi> subtle way, host some pic's of your previous boats and whether fate, financials or spouses were responsible for them being "in the past". Multiple green alum Jon boats assorted sizes powered by 15-35hp tillers in my youth. Got the first 12' with a 15 at age 12 with grass cutting money. Sell upgrade repeat. Built a 13' ultralight hydrofoil in 8th grade. She had a open class modified 25 short shaft speed foot. Probably pumping out closer to 30hp and she would dance on the track skeg and foot of motor maybe rear foot of the boat at best was in the water would zip around in the 40s mph. And when you are in a 400# boat 14 years old and running 40s inches from water that feels like 100.. She is long gone crashed and in the marsh giving home to crabs now. 1961 Feather Craft that I nut n bolt ground up restored along with fully restoring the original 1960 Johnson super sea horse 40hp electric start generator (not an altinator it was a generator). Was my winter project a couple years ago. We had good times for a couple rears croosin but plans to start family called for larger boat with higher gunnels and a more stable platform. She was sold to fund this Four Winns I am currently revamping. So at age 27 I'm on boat 8 or 9 couple canoos and kayaks and multiple sailboats. I hate being on the water hahahaha 1961' feather ![]() ![]() ![]() |

When I was a teenager I got a 16.5 Catalina capri sailboat to play with. Sold that in 2003 and wasn't a boat owner again until I got a 12ft Jon boat in 2010. Then h180, stingray, now a Chaparral. What's next? Newer 248 Vista. Not for a couple years though. This 215ss is perfect for my lake and river excursions. Plenty of room. My father was an avid boater since I was born. Motor boats, sail boats, etc. He always had something cool |
