Anyone ever let their 268 Vista go high and dry with a keel guard? Like fully high and dry, as in, you beach the boat and allow the tide to go out and hang around untill it comes back in? Its a real popular thing to do around here, Brown's Bank in Plymouth, Bassings Beach in Cohasset, etc.... Just wondering how the boat handles it and how far it tilts, I used to do it all the time with my H200 and camp out for a day or two.

People do it down here on Cape Cod Bay side, especially around Sandy Neck, Dennis, and off Wellfleet. Personally, I did it once (with an 18' bowrider) and felt uncomfortable because if an emergency happened, we would be literally high and dry. I normally just keep it floating in the shallowest water at low tide that keep it floating. Usually throw anchor off stern and bow. Seems like a big boat to do it with. I have seen some boats in the 22-23' range, mostly center consoles.

I see it happen a lot, but its by accident from some meatball that doesnt pay attention and goes for a long walk and comes back to their boat high and dry,
I wouldnt do it , unless I didnt care for the boat.
