I thought I got a deal a month ago. I went there today, day 30 on the dot, to get the "price protection". I got back $23 and a free 3 piece magma grill kit.

So yeah, magma cabo gas grill, 3 piece tool kit (spatula and thongs) at west marine for $149. Insane. Go get one

Sounds like a great deal. Are the "thongs" matching his/hers, or do you get to choose colors? :D

Damn I was just there. New excuse to go, but not sure where to mount and or store it on my boat. No need to post pics of your matching thongs lol

Pedestal mount is 74.99 on Defender.com, that's better than the West Marine price for the same (94.99).

Wonder how you would go about trying to get a price match online? I'd burn twenty dollars in fuel driving all the way across town and back to try and get the match in store...

Edit- Online chat at West Marine just told the Admiral that they DO NOT price match from other websites online...go figure.

Read my H180 thread, I had a great place to mount a kettle grill. There might be enough room on the back to do the pedestal mount.

Comes with this. Really freaking nice.

Just ordered ours...looks like I'll be doing a pedestal mount in my swim ladder well!

Thanks for the heads up, Ric!

Now if I could just find that thread that mentioned the thickness of the 268 swim platform in the ladder well so I could size my screws/bolts.

Hey guys, does this particular Magma grill have a temperature gauge?

Thanks,
Mike.

My current boat BBQ is a Dickinson Large Sea-B-Que. Received this grill used (came with boat) when we purchased our first cruiser about 15 years ago.

I have put three new burners in over the years. The stainless steel looks a little used now (as it should) but it sure does not owe me any money. I'll likely be BBQing two meals while boating this coming weekend with it.

Maybe not needed, but since my existing Sea-B-Que has a temperature gauge I think I'd prefer it's replacement grill to have one also. I find the wind can sometimes vary grill temperature and glancing over at the gauge can tell you quickly if you ran out of propane or your grill happened to blow out.

Just personal preference. The above grill would seem to be a good deal.

Mike.
