Refrigerator died in the 1997 278 vista. I am having a tough time finding a fridge that will fit in same hole. What fridge replaces the Norcold de-351-d or fits in the 278 vista? the width is the only measurement i have room to make a little bigger |

I realize that this isn't what you're asking, but try playing around with the on/off switch. I bought my 99 258 Vista last summer and the fridge wasn't working at first ... but after cleaning the contacts up a bit and playing with the switch it started working. Was just down at the boat this weekend after getting the boat in and took a little bit of playing with the switch again for it to start working again. ETA: I think you would have to replace it with a DE-0751, looks like they go in the 6-700 range or so. If you look on the Norcold website you can find an authorized service center near you. Might be cheaper to have it fixed than buy a new one depending on what's wrong with it. |

I believe the 351 (20Hx18Wx20D)has been redesigned several times and the current model is the NR751BB. If your cutout dimensions are 20.5Hx18.5 W this fridge should fit. The specs are listed on the link. http://www.wholesalemarine.com/p/NOR-NR751BB/Norcold+3.0+CF+Built-In+AC-DC+Refridgerator-Black+Front.html I installed this fridge a couple months ago and so far I'm very happy with it. It has a really cool blue led light inside and more room than the De0051 I replaced. You can mount it flush with the cabinet or have the door sticking out in a proud mount style. I couldn't flush mount it because of a thru hull for the sink behind the fridge ![]() |
