INFO: this is my cousins boat that i did a lot of consulting and helping him with on his first big project.. My family is involved in the marine industry and we have all grown up in it and on boats for 7 generations.. great great grandfather was a founding member of the Carolina Yacht Club 1883 in Charleston, SC on of the oldest Yacht clubs in the US.. My father is owns a Marine survey and delivery company that surveys and inspects boats for insurance companies and banks.. Basically our lives revolve around boat and the water..
ok to the Trash to GOLD project.. this hull.. yes naked hull (pop out aka never trimmed, never rigged, never built) it does not even have stamped hull ID numbers it is a prototype hull for a company that was only alive for about 5 years in the mid 90s.. well she sat at a family friends boat yard in the back corner for years and years.. I actually almost bought it for $25 when i was 15 to build but dad pointed out the costs to make it how i envisioned.. well last october during an oyster roast and a few cold beers the old boat hull came to topic again and well short story short. "hell if you drag it out of here and promise to make it stunning, it is yours" this was said to my cousin. So he had to grab one of the family many small trailers and fetch the boat the next day... and well he now had a winter project...
the foam under the floor had standing water for years and had turned the foam to muck so all of that was removed and a new floor was installed.. then filled with expanding closed cell foam for a solid foam hull structure.. Now the entire floor is 2-5" thick of solid foam..

mid 2000s low hours Yamaha 60Hp 4st power trim and tilt with alternator and key start was picked up on one of cousins boat deliveries to FL..

all of the paint and non skid is AWLgrip and the bottom paint is blue..
note the stereo control face on the right that drives the BLACK box inside of the center hatch.. there is also a Lowrance depth/fish/chart/gps that mounts to the rear bench right side under the top cap so all you do is look straight down when driving to read the screen, out of the way.
all flush hardware... in this pic look at the rear bench on the left and you will see the Lowrance it is gray with a cover over the screen.
