I have heard of other brand of boat owners (sponsored by local marinas) meeting up for a day on the water to enjoy the boats and hang out. Has anyone on the forum done this with other FW owners? Anyone in northeast interested? I know there are quite a few from CT,RI,MA,NH,NY, and ME on here. Just a thought, I think it could be a fun event. A Stingray dealership sponsors a summer bash on a local lake every year and Hyannis Marina does a Sea Ray event in the summer here in front of our house. You don't have to be in a Sea Ray to participate though, its just a huge floating party. Doesn't have to be sponsored by a dealership at all though, just a get together could be fun. |

Searay puts on a party up here too. Behind Paddocks Island in Boston's outer harbor on a party boat. The have a live band & give aways. T-shirts, cups, key-chains the normal junk. It is a good time and you must get out there early!! They call it Aquapalooza. |

I think it's a great idea! Down here in SoCal, I think it would be a very small meetup though...All I know of is PacWinn and my buddy PD in San Diego, Johnny Marlin up in OC (I think?), and a couple of others who haven't been on the forum lately... |

The Cape Cod area might be a bit of a drive, but I would love to organize one for the Lake Ontario/GTA area. Quite a few Canadian FW's owners here.... Annnd, I have met 4 new FW's owners at my local ramp this season. Two 1988-89 Sundowners, one 1998 Horizon, and one 2013 H180. Oh, and my buddy just picked up a 1987 Sundowner, so five new FW's in my neck O' the woods. I told all of them about this forum, so hopefully they join up. |

Hey, you're all welcome to come to West Palm Beach Florida and meet at "Peanut Island". The Island and the neighboring sand bars are the local boating hot spot, along with many waterfront restaurants. gregs wrote: Looks like there could be lots of: "Here, hold my beer and watch this!" ![]() True... But there is no alcohol allowed on the island. That explains why all the boats are on the sand bar. |

Central FL area: You can head out to Disappearing Island in Ponce Inlet, FL any time and there will be people there hanging out (low tide). Every July Sea Ray also holds Aquapalooza there also. Silver Glen Springs off Lake George near Ocala, FL is also another hang out spot. Holidays it gets insane, but even summer weekends can get very close to that. St. John's River - Big Whirl area - always people beached up on weekends. Lake Conway is packed to the brim with boats, but also cops. Lake Howell (my lake, private access) always has a good turnout in the summer. Yesterday 4-5 boats, that many jet skis. There's a beach with volleyball, bbq grills, etc. The weekends can get crazy, sometimes cops patrol on ski. The former wakeboard capital of Central FL and one of the original places it ever started in the late 80s/early 90s. We still use/keep up the many sliders, ramps, a-frames, table tops, etc. The old timers in the industry will argue it's the birthplace of modern wakeboarding. Now there's on average 2-4 boats out wakesurfing, with a few professionals on tour using it as their practice lake. Clear Lake: The current wakeboard capital of CFL. Party central. Not many official manufacturer meetups. We like to drink here in Florida and "official" usually means "no alcohol" |

Ugh, that many people in the water on small boats... my idea of fun does not include swimming in a toilet. Even with it being watered-down from all the beer.... |

Yes, Aquapalooza, that's what the Sea Ray dealer has out here. A bunch of floating docks, band, games, etc. Those pics of Havasu loaded with boats isnt my scene at all. Generally around here, you are able to find your own slice of beach without too much interruption. So, anybody in NE interested in planing a get together? Maybe in the fall? Boston Harbor? Narragansett Bay? Any takers? |
