I'm on the North Shore here and its always bad where I am...in fact, most likely this will be my last boat with an I/O because no matter what I do, I get growth and its getting to be a pain to have to pull it and clean it and paint the drive AGAIN in August. I had the barnacles growing in the water intakes so bad that I had to split the upper and lower drive housings to clean em out. Outboard next boat for me.
