Hey guys , I just tuned up my boat and cleaned my spark arrestor, Am I supposed to apply oil on the arrestor. I noticed it was kinda oiled up. Thanks |

Is it the standard type that looks like a stack of thin sheet metal rings? If so, I never oiled mine. Just cleaned with carb cleaner or most any degreaser. It gets oily from the crankcase breather tubes. |

Yep that would be it, That's what I did, hit it with some carb cleaner and dried it off and put it back on. Thanks |
