http://getpebble.com/ Pebble bluetooth watch. Can control your smartphone via bluetooth. What does that mean to us boaters? Today I beached my boat and was sitting on a picnic table 50ft away controlling the volume, music, looking at text messages, etc. Best 150 bucks I've ever spent. Doesn't matter where you are, as long as you have bluetooth connectivity to your phone (I use pandora or google music) you can totally control the stereo. AND it's waterproof to 50ATM. Go for a dip. Whatever. Doesn't matter you can control your music while off the platform cooling off. Throws the idea of wired remotes on the boat out the window. Get one!! |

Just watched the advertisement video, definitely going to have to go the route of the smart watch. Actually not that terrible looking either! |

They are now suing Google (et.al) for impinging on their trademark. |
